Happy Thirsty Thursday everyone! So it’s basically spring time, unless you live in Chicago. Here it’s like fall most days and then the temperature sky rockets to 80 degrees one day a week. Even though the temperature is a bit wacky, things are still starting to bloom. So I really enjoyed pulling cocktail recipes that used Edible Flowers and I wanted to do something similar that was feminine and easy. Enter Rosé. The drink of the moment and the only pink colored wine I will tolerate (don’t even come at me with White Zinfandel). I love a nice Rosé before or after dinner and since there are so many ways to make a cocktail with wine, I thought we should take a look at how to serve up some Rosé Wine
Try some of these out this spring and get on that Rosé train!
Raspberry Rose Fizz
Honestly Yum is the perfect place to find delicious recipes, and it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this recipe. It’s incredibly feminine and use so many fruity notes to make it. While it does not use Rosé wine, it does use rosewater. So start slow and finish strong with this drink!
Rosé Hibiscus Spritzer
Anyone else hate the sugary summer cocktails? I cannot handle more than one margarita, sangria or anything else with loads of sugar. Hello spritzer, nice of you to show. It’s crispy and clean and dude, it has Rosé. Love this recipe and the blog at Wit and Delight.
Gin and Rosé Cocktail
You have to be ginning me…there are so many ways to make a gin cocktail. Adding Rosé really tones down the bitterness of the gin. Get the full recipe at Breakfast with Audrey.
Blackberry Bellini
A bellini is a cocktail we often forget about at brunch time. Typically with peach and champagne, it’s similar to a mimosa. This recipe is more for cocktail hour and uses Rosé along with fresh berries.
Rosé Wine Cocktail
Another clean and crisp drink that lets the Rosé standout as the key player in this cocktail. Little additions like lemon and grapefruit don’t bog down the flavor. Get this recipe and so much more at Perpetually Hungry.
Little Rosé Cocktail
Last but not least, a very unique drink that uses tequila and cherries in a Rosé cocktail. It’s ingredients sound similar to a margarita, but the result is much different.
Enjoy!
