Late Novemeber, soon December will be rolling in. While the traditional fall flavors like pumpkin and apple will soon be faded out, other wintery flavors like cinnamon and cranberry will be making their way to our plates. I got a head start on the some of these flavors with this cranberry cocktail round up. I searched some amazing blogs and chose six great cranberry cocktail recipes for you to try. Enjoy!
Cranberry Mule
First things first, doesn’t this drink just look like fall? The copper and the sugar coated cranberries make this drink look so autumny I can’t even stand it. Because my favorite summertime cocktail is a crisp Moscow Mule, I thought this version would be great for fall. Get the recipe at The Speckled Palate – Cranberry Mule.
Cranberry & Rosemary White Christmas Sangria
This drink I am especially excited about for two reasons. One, I found a perfect cocktail for the Holiday season. It looks seasonal and has lots of flavor. Two, I discovered it on the best named food blog there is; Cooking Stoned. Love the name, love the drink more! It has lots of seasonal fruit and it topped with a fresh sprig of rosemary. Do you really need convincing to try a sangria recipe? Get the fll recipe and more pictures at Cooking Stoned : Cranberry & Rosemary White Christmas Sangria.
Cranberry Ginger Cocktail
Before you freak out, yes that is a huge ass chunk of ginger in that drink! I love it! Ginger cocktails are my fave in case you have not noticed. And I can only imagine how well cranberry and ginger go together in this drink. Get the recipe at JellyToastBlog : Cranberry Ginger Cocktail.
Maple Cranberry Bourbon Martini
Oh hey bourbon, so glad you could make it to the cranberry party! Maple & bourbon are the perfect pair for fall so it only makes sense to add some cranberry to the mix. Marla Meridith made a rustic drink for the season and it would be a perfect drink to make a big batch of for parties. Get the full recipe here: Maple Cranberry Bourbon Martini
Mulled Cranberry Cocktail
Props to any of you who bust out the crock pot and make mulled wine for the holidays. It creates a warming smell and memorable drink. Of course Martha Stewart had an upgraded version with this cranberry mulled beverage.
Mulled Cranberry Apple Cider
Last but not least I chose a mulled cider. Cider is obviously a drink that exudes fall, it’s brown it has apples in it and it can be served warm. Add some cranberry and you have a great twist on a traditional drink. Pair a a drink like this with a bonfire and some chunky kinit scarves and yoi have the perfect fall evening.
