I don’t want to alarm you guys but next week is August. Yeah, the last month of summer. So please, do yourself a favor and soak up some sun, get outside and enjoy some seasonal produce, like mango!

I went to Trader Joe’s the other day and made a make your own 6-pack of beer. I got some watermelon beer, grapefruit beer and a KBC Mango Pale Ale. I was not so sure about the mango beer, but I wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I did, because I loved it! It was my favorite beer out the 6-pack so far, however I did get a Not Your Father’s Ginger Ale that I have not tried yet.

It was surprised by the mango beer but it got me thinking about other mango drinks I could be enjoying. So, please enjoy this mango cocktail round up for today’s Thirsty Thursday! It’s not long before mango is out of season, so get them while they are cheap!

Chile Rubbed Mango Margarita

What is summer without a great margarita recipe? This is fun one to try because is combines heat and sweetness. The chile rubbed rim is optional, but you might as well give it the try to get the full flavor.

Maebells

Look, you guys have no excuse not to make this drink. You only need two ingredients, so stop playing games and make this drink for your friends this summer. If you’re kicking it with your girlfriends on a Saturday night drinking moscato, you can easily add some mango puree to make this fun drink. Get the recipe and more at Maebells.com.

Mango Strawberry Gin Slush

This is an easy drink to make and it’s perfect for summertime. The cool, icey drink uses mango sorbet and fresh thyme. It’s a perfect after dinner cocktail that will satisfy your sweeth tooth. Check out Vinepair.com for the full recipe.

Mango Habanero IPA Shandy

This is the recipe I was most looking forward to since I was so in love with the mango beer I tried. This recipe from Glue & Glitter really has me excited because it has a lot of elements for summer; beer, sweetness and heat. Don’t be afraid to try something new with this beer cocktail.

Mango & Blackberry Vodka Cooler

I love this recipe because it sounds exactly like something I would order off the drink menu of restaurant. If I saw this on the happy hour list, best buh-lieve I would be ordering it. But I don’t have to wait for that moment because I can make it myself! Great pictures and recipes at FoolProofLiving.com.

Minty Mango Mimosa

I am a big fan if subbing anything into mimosa’s. I don’t drink orange juice so whenver there is mimosa’s I just stick to champagne, unless I happen to bring along some pineapple juice. This recipe sounds like a great go to for anyone who wants a new kind of mimosa for the summertime. It’s a clever use of mint too, which always grows abundantly in the summer time.

Mango Mojitos

Another classic summertime drink made unique with a touch of mango. My dad and my sister love some summertime mojito’s, but if my sister saw this on a menu I am sure she would order it.  It does not stray away from a classic mojito either, so you don’t have to worry about losing that crisp mint flavor.

Peach Mango Sangria

It’s easy to trade peaches and mangos in recipes. Both have a soft texture and are not too sweet. They are both relatively the same color and go great with wines. Luckily you don’t have to swap anything with this recipe. A one two punch of peach schnapps and mango chunks make this a standout sangria! Get the recipe at JenniferMeyering.com.
